What does it feel when you see a little cabinet in the woods, or when you touch an aged but well-crafted wood furniture in grandma’s house?

Nothing is like the wood that immediately evokes distanced memories of nature and home. In metaverse, when the physical limitations no longer exist, the emotional attachment of the wood becomes more essential than ever.

In this project, the interpretation of the wood is embodied in the form of the building. In an isolated environment, each end of the box is lifted or extended in an unexpected way, but the start of each piece is tightly connected together like root.

With a composition of intricate volume and frame, the building intertwines simple wood architecture with sophisticated tectonic intervention to provoke surges of nostalgia that resonates with everyone.
